A short drive along the coast takes you to Compton Bay, ideal for surfing and a little further on you can see fossilised dinosaur footprints and trees. The West Wight is home to salt marshes, picture postcard villages, and an abundance of wildlife. Sea fishing, paragliding and sailing are all available close by and the many attractions of the Isle of Wight are all easily accessible by car or bus.
